| In the late 1960's, the Ferren family (Francis & Sons, William, Daniel, Paul & Michael) had a vision to develop a facility for the golfing public. The facility has expanded and changed over the years with its primary focus being to provide an enjoyable, quality and affordable venue to learn, practice, and play the game of a lifetime. | |

| The Garsdale Golf Society | |
| Locals and friends of locals are invited to join The Garsdale Golf Society. Playing some 6 events during the year on courses in the North West of England. Our members have a wide variety of handicaps, from 6 to 28. These handicaps are revised during the year to take account of success or otherwise in our events and also to reflect handicap reductions at the member's own courses. In this way we see a wide distribution of awards. The main criteria of the Society is to ensure enjoyment of both golf and social gatherings. Members are encouraged to participate in the organisation of some of the events. | |
